TAYLOR KRYMUSA - BSc. Nutritional Sciences & Exercise Theory

Titan Level 1 Performance Coach
[email protected]
Born and raised in southern Manitoba, Taylor started playing sports at a very young age. She played competitive hockey, fastball, soccer and track throughout high school and then moved on to more personalized sports when she went off to University. After a year at the University of Manitoba, Taylor transferred to the University of Alberta to pursue a degree in Human Nutritional Sciences and started teaching strength training classes and spin classes through the YMCA and private fitness facilities. In 2006 she decided to also go to N.A.I.T to get a certificate in woodworking and furniture design. During her time in University she continued to work with older populations teaching fitness and also sat on the board of directors for S.A.C.R.E.D ( Society for Assisted Cooperative Recovery from Eating Disorders)
After living in Edmonton for 5 years Taylor and her husband moved to Germany where her husband continued with his professional hockey  career and where her first two kids Micah and Hanan were born. Once returning to Canada they decided to settle in Winnipeg and had their third child Ashton in 2014. While in Winnipeg Taylor continued to work as a fitness instructor and also added her personal training certification. Before 2020 she was working on building a boutique fitness facility for business professionals in downtown Winnipeg. During this time she trained and taught a variety of classes with a diverse population at multiple gyms, through the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba, St. Amant, and Manitoba Hydro as well as training privately. Her experience at this time gave way to a passion in preventative healthcare.
In 2022 her family moved to Smithers. During this time she decided to start her training in holistic nutrition through Nutrition Therapy Institute. She is presently teaching a variety of classes through Northern Edge Sport Association and has just opened her holistic nutrition practice. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, hiking, playing hockey, soccer, slow pitch, gardening and spending time with friends and family. Her hope is to continue to give back to the Smithers community and help others with their overall health and well being. Taylor is excited to start training and teaching  at Titan Performance.
